Hey! I’m Elizabeth—but most people just call me Liz.
I’m a multidisciplinary artist based in Hamilton/London, Ontario, with a focus in painting, graphic design, and photography. I recently graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Honours) from Western University, specializing in Studio Art and Art History, with a minor in Museum and Curatorial Studies, and I’ve been building a creative practice that blends traditional techniques with contemporary subjects.

My paintings - mostly in oil - are rooted in the present. I’m drawn to everyday objects, pop culture, and the kinds of things that might seem small, but actually carry emotional

or cultural weight. I see my work as a way of documenting the specific feeling of life in the present. Whether thats a toy, a meme, or a brand, I’m interested in how these objects tell stories - about individuals, generations, or our culture.
Although my artistic education was primarily focused on painting, I also have experience in graphic design. I’ve taken multiple design courses throughout university and created various printed projects, including a 60-page exhibition catalog and a professionally printed workbook for CooperVision. I’ve also done plenty of non-professional design work - from layout and branding projects to social media graphics. I’m great at applying skills I’ve developed through painting - like attention to detail, color theory, and aesthetic composition - to design projects in a way that feels thoughtful and visually cohesive.

I also work in photography, with experience in portrait, sports, nature, and conceptual shoots. My photography often shares the same goal as my paintings: to capture a moment, feeling, or place in time that might otherwise go unnoticed.
